Described
by some as the best all-around horse in the world, Russian Arabians
have earned a beloved place in American equine history. This special
breed is known for nobility, kind disposition, and superior movements,
especially unrivaled trotting action.
The Russian
Arabian is a fusion of beauty, endurance, fierce stamina, and drive.
They exhibit large, fleshy nostrils that fully extend to draw in tremendous
amounts of oxygen, hence the term "Drinkers of the Wind." Carrying
a refined head, large eyes, and tail held high over their backs, it's
easy to see how this beautiful horse has captured the hearts of millions.
The first
Russian Arabians were imported to the US in the early 1960s and the
breed has since attracted an extremely loyal following.
